The Supreme Pro-X SFA is a level-dependent hearing protector designed for hunting and shooting. Legendary for its ruggedness and comfort, the SFA offers two distinct attenuation levels to match the noise environment. Its waterproof construction ensures performance even in the harshest conditions. Ambient sounds are amplified with precise directionality, allowing you to quickly and accurately locate their source—without removing your hearing protector—even in extreme noise from high-caliber rifles.

Simple, rugged, and clever

Some sound environments require extra noise protection. The special Pro-X SFA model offers very high attenuation (SNR 31).

The SFA includes an additional distance ring and attenuation liner that further increase the already high attenuation of the standard Pro-X, making the SFA ideal for environments with very high impulse noise—for example, from magnum or short-barreled rifles.

Both the distance ring and the liner are detachable, allowing you to switch between two distinct attenuation levels. By removing them, you effectively reconfigure your SFA into a standard Pro-X with the regular attenuation level. Note, however, that earmuffs reconfigured in this way is no longer covered by certification.

All other features—including the electronic functions such as ambient sound amplification and communication—are identical to those of the standard Pro-X models.

Audio profiles

SordinHEAR2’s audio profiles are pre-set listening modes, each adapted to typical hunting or shooting situations.

Hunter

The standard audio profile for general use. Gain and frequency are set at normal levels to mimic natural ambient sound, providing a good balance between situational awareness and comfort.

Focus

This profile features higher gain and a wider frequency spectrum than normal. Ideal for use in a hunting tower when you need maximum amplification to detect even the faintest sounds from game animals.

Shooter

A comfort-focused profile with reduced gain and a narrower frequency spectrum. Perfect for the shooting range, where situational awareness and ambient sound are less critical.

Ambient off

Disables ambient sound so your headset functions as passive hearing protection only. Communication remains active, making this mode ideal for activities like motorized transportation.
